Svenheim received a trophy and awards at the European Product Design Award 2026 ceremony in Venice on Sunday, October 18.

Neringa Miliuniene and Torunn Stavran Johansen represented Svenheim at the award ceremony, which brought together nearly 150 international attendees.

OM was recognized in three categories:

• WINNER – Conceptual / Work & Office Product Design
• WINNER – Eco Design / Sustainable: Eco Design Products
• TOP DESIGN – Work (Office) / Office Furniture: Conference Room

OM began with a simple idea: How can existing conference tables be given a longer lifespan and a fresh new look without replacing the entire table?

The result is an innovative cover concept that gives tables a renewed visual identity while keeping the existing furniture in use. OM combines flexibility and design with a more resource-conscious approach to furniture renewal.

The concept was developed by Svenheim’s product development team in close collaboration with designers Lars Pettersson and Morgan Rudberg.

The European Product Design Award celebrates outstanding product design from around the world, with entries from 83 countries in this year’s competition. Recognizing OM in three categories marks an important milestone for everyone involved in its development and provides a strong source of inspiration for future product innovation.
